Many times your expectations outshine the reality. Not here, the minute we arrived we were greeted by a travel company representative at the airport to speed us through the visa process ,and then were whisked to our hotel after the very long flight . It was a great start. Thus started our amazing trip. Our guides and drivers were friendly, helpful and informative. The hotels picked where the perfect blend of local luxury. Our itinerary took us to known and unknown places letting us discover the country and its people by car, boat, and Vespa. We took market tours, boat tours, cooking classes, in home dinners. We explored historical and religious venues, as well as the wonderful country side. It was such a rewarding trip, we did so much, but because it was all so beautifully planned it went all so smoothly.

We thoroughly loved our guides in each city who were able to open up the history, culture  and "behind the scenes" side trips of each stop along the way. We were fascinated with the publisher who was able to help us understand the fascinating history of Vietnam and its neighbors and occupiers.  The chef in Hue was an exceptional host and prepared a wonderful meal and opened our eyes to the many foods of your country. We loved getting to spend the evening in a true Vietnam home. The beautiful hotels and yacht were first class with impeccable service.  The welcoming that we were given at each stop along the way set Vietnam far and away. As the most "gracious" country we have ever visited!!!
