Due to its huge makeover, there is a great number of accommodation options for visitors from mini resort to world class 5 star ones. With its shiny sand, clear and blue water, Nha Trang is an ideal place for swimming and exploring. I have been there so many times and each time there is always something new for me to try. The most striking aspect of Nha Trang to me however, is that there are many colorful coral reefs and the variety of fishes. The feeling of swimming with lovely schools of fish around you is amazing.
Besides snorkeling or diving, biking or climbing up mountains and walking along cliffs looking out over the vast ocean beyond are the other things visitors should experience. It’s well worth the trek!
For those who are looking for an “isolated paradise,” I would recommend Ninh Van Bay which is accessed by boat (this is the only way to get here). The transfer itself already gives you that “isolated” and “hideaway” feeling. Trust me you are awarded when you reach there. It is quiet with natural surroundings and white sandy beach. This is the most beautiful beach in Nha Trang in my opinion. It has everything you might need for a relaxing beach break: soaring mountains, dramatic rock formations, pristine beaches and so fresh seafood. Due to its wild beauty, there are not many options for your stay. Luckily, Ninh Van Bay is home to one of the country’s most luxurious resorts, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. Fantastic food, top notch service and lovely villas! You might love its hilltop pool villa and be impressed by the attention to detail of the room and as a nature lover, I was in love with its sustainability that most of luxurious resorts might lack. Bikes are available for adventurous junkies. Everything is just lovely!
The best time to visit Nha Trang is in summer from April to August. October to December experiences high humidity and there could be rainfalls.
Last but not least, here is my favorite accommodation list in Nha Trang, in no particular order:
