Charming Corners In Cambodia

1. Chez Flo, Phnom Penh

Fans of fromage now have a new place to head to when they are in Phnom Penh. Chez Flo is a bar full of personality specializing in cheese plates, charcuterie and a great selection of wines. The bar’s owner, Mr. Flo Montmeat, is a very fun character. He wants to take care of the bar directly to preserve his personality in the bar’s operations. Guests are welcomed and encouraged to make a small talk with Montmeat as he serves at the bar. “Early birds” can drop by when the sun rises to have a cup of traditional coffee and a croissant. Perhaps later in the day, do try one of the bar’s signature cocktails – the Medina or Flojito or come after dinner for a delightful drink and some finger food.

Add: #37 Street 308, Phnom Penh.

2. FCC Angkor, Siem Reap

FCC Angkor aka Foreign Correspondents’ Club is a lively nexus of style located right next to the Royal Residence along the river and not far from the Old Market area. It is a great stop for a good drink and festive celebration after spending a long day exploring the temples. It is not only a bar but also an elegant dining venue catering international menus, fine wines from around the globe with indoor, outdoor and poolside seating.

Add: next to the Royal Residence, Pokambor Ave, Krong Siem Reap
